Adaptation & Social-Ecological Resilience

Adaptation has been recognized as a vital approach for reducing vulnerability and strengthening resilience in social-ecological systems. My research examines how individuals and communities—particularly agricultural producers and rangeland managers—adapt to increasing environmental and socioeconomic uncertainty, including climate risks, drought, and land use change. My research in this area aims to be policy- and management-oriented, with the goal of informing strategies that foster more resilient and adaptive working landscapes.
